Auto Operation Lime Hydrator with PLC System for Saving Labor
In the lime hydrator, quicklime coarse powder or quicklime lumps is turned into lime hydrate Ca(OH)2 after the addition and mixing with water at a temperature of approx. 100°C. The requested residual moisture of the hydrate is regulated by a temperature-controlled water supply and a variable material retention time. The grinding in the lime hydrator ensures the water and quicklime can be mixed completely. The vapors developing during hydration are dedusted by the pulse-jet collector and blower. The filtering bag is an integral and important part of the lime hydrator, which guarantee the vapors can be eliminated from the lime hydrator.

And the raw material is always in the boiling state. The waste heat in the production process can be used to preheat the water, saving energy and effectively reducing production costs. ⑶ The quality of lime hydrate is stable and controllable. Lime milk has high concentration (can be stabilized at more than 20% ~ 30% for a long time, reducing water consumption) and good quality. After emulsification and homogenization by the lime hydrator, it can effectively break the calcium oxide coating, prevent the package from returning to alkali, and shorten the carbonization time. At the same time, it can improve the whiteness of the product.
⑷ The requirements of lime raw materials are not strict, and automatic slag removal can be realized. The lime calcination process is limited because of kiln types, unevenness of the limestone and solid fuel lump, and fluctuations in the calcination process parameters, so that the quality of quick lime may appear in various situations such as light-burnt, medium-burnt and over-burnt, and the lime hydrator must be adapted to different types of quicklime to improve the adaptability to raw materials. Therefore, the lime hydrator must be able to automatically discharge the core and slag of the light burned ash. And this auto operation lime hydrator can easily deal with overburnt and low-activity quciklime can be completely digested.
