Lime hydrate had many applications. In the construction industry, quicklime is added to mortar. Working Principle of Lime Hydrate Machine:
In the lime hydrator, quicklime coarse powder or quicklime lumps is turned into lime hydrate Ca(OH)2 after the addition and mixing with water at a temperature of approx. 100°C. The requested residual moisture of the hydrate is regulated by a temperature-controlled water supply and a variable material retention time. The grinding in the lime hydrator ensures the water and quicklime can be mixed completely.
When the lime hydrate machine starts to work, the quicklime is conveyed to the mixing chamber. The feeding rate and load will be fed back to the PLC system. The hot water regulating valve opens, hot water with a temperature of about 65 ~ 70 ° C is added into the mixing chamber. When the overflow comes out, the density meter will work, and the opening of the regulating valve is adjusted by the feedback signal of the meter. The cold water valve is opened to add cold water to the mixing chamber to keep the temperature above 100 ° C. The PLC controls the water flow and water pressure. If water flow is too low, it will alarm.
The equipment can work automatically, which greatly reduces the labor intensity of workers; as a certain amount of dust-containing gas is generated during the lime digestion process, there is a certain amount of pollution to the environment. In the actual production process, the realization of automatic control is mainly based on the automatic detection of lime concentration, temperature, pressure, flow rate, liquid level, composition and other process parameters to obtain accurate and reliable data. Then the control system performs comparison, calculation based on the obtained data, and then issues a command to operate the opening degree of the regulating valve.
