How to install pendulum roller grinding mill:

 

1. Please refer to the foundation drawing of the pendulum roller grinding mill, draw the outline and decide the place where the main unit is located.

2.Find two central lines of the grinding mill, which are perpendicular to each other. Then, lay four stakes based on the outline.

3.With the reference of central lines of grinding mill, find the central lines of other parts. Then lay four stakes based on the outline as well.

4.Dig pits according to the instruction in foundation drawing; Make sure that the depth for pendulum roller grinding mill is deep enough. The depth of other parts can be decided according to the actual condition of the foundation.

5. Lay the wooden pattern in the holes and pits of foot-bolt, reducer, blower and elevator and confirm the relative location. Lay the steel bar around main mill and blower.

6.Pour concrete and make sure the concrete mark is above 500. When the concrete reaches a certain height, check the position of wooden patterns. Keep pouring after confirming the position and vibrate the concrete with vibrating spear to ensure the quality. If operated in frozen season, heating measures should be taken. The maintenance period is 12 days.

7.As the main grinding mill may move up in the hoisting and installation, also need to judge it accordingly. If the clearance between the upper part of coupling and gland is less than 10mm, it shows the main shaft has moved up. In this situation, hammer at the upper part of the rotation support until main shaft moves to previous position. Otherwise, in the installation of the reducer, the 5-8mm clearance between the closed half coupling under the main unit and the active coupling above the reducer is not real. When the main unit works for a while, the main shaft will move down to its previous position under the force of gravity. At that time, there is no clearance between two half couplings. As a result, the main unit will be overloaded with less feed and yield, which may even cause cracks in gear case. So after locate the main unit, confirm the clearance between these two half couplings according to the figure. The base of main unit should be aligned with sizing block and leveled with the level frame. The vertical and horizontal level should be within 1000mm and no more than 0.1mm. The mismatch angle of two half couplings should be no more than 0.33mm; the clearance should be within 5-8mm; nonparallelism should be no more than 0.1mm. Blower housing and base are adjusted on the base of the chamber. After the location, start the back grouting. When the grout is reaching the main unit base, underlay the concave steel plate 250*250 with different thickness in the foundation bolts. Grout the steel plate, then the main unit could be operated after 18 days maintenance.

 

    Pendulum roller grinding mill is a kind of high-efficiency and power-saving equipment. Its technical advantages include higher production capacity; lower energy consumption; wide particle size distribution; good purity; good fluidity and fineness. The fineness ranges from of the finished product is d97 = 33 ~ 200μm, the production capacity of single calcium carbonate roller grinding mill is 6-20t/h.

 

Working Principle of Pendulum Roller Grinding Mill

 

    Raw material is firstly crushed by jaw crusher into certain size (less than 20mm), which are lifted up to the storage hopper by bucket elevator. The vibration feeder then conveys the crushed material at a fixed rate into the grinding chamber of the main unit. The four rollers hung upon the spider-arm are running around the shaft. With the centrifugal force, the four rotational rollers will go around the ring tightly. The raw material is lifted up between the rollers and rings by the blade to grind the raw material into powder.

The grinded material is blown up to the classifier, through which the powder is separated. Coarse particles fall back down to the mill for regrinding. The needed particles will go into the collector,where products will be collected through the discharge opening. The purified air goes into the fan through the pipe above the cyclone collector. Air stream in all pipelines is negative pressure except for that in the fan and grinding chamber. Air volume in the whole system increases because of the gas from the moisture in the raw material and the air from the flange conjunctions and feeding-in opening. The extra air volume goes into the pulse jet powder collector. The ultrafine powder in the air stream can be collected through the discharging valve.
