Environment-Friendly Calcium Hydroxide Lime Hydrator With Higher Hydrated Rate
The lime hydrator delivers the quicklime into the pre-hydrator(usually called first-stage), where water is added by a spray nozzle and then mixed with the quicklime. In the second and third stage, the quicklime reacts completely with the added water to produce calcium hydroxide. For the calcium hydroxide lime hydrator, the following factors need to be considered for stable performance: water spraying system with exact dosing control, quicklime feeding control and mixing period control.
The calcium hydroxide lime hydrator is equipped with screw conveyor, which has a weighing device for adjustable feeding. This is also helpful for water and quicklime ratio.
The pre-hydrator plays a very important role in the whole lime hydration plant. In this place, quicklime (CaO) is mixed intensively with water to obtain dry hydrated lime in powder form. Nozzles for adding water are positioned in the pre-hydrator for this purpose. To ensure that the process material is mixed thoroughly with the hydration water and to prevent caking caused by the product, the pre-hydrator is designed as a double-shaft screw. The quicklime is exposed to high shearing forces for making quicklime into powder.
The second and third hydrator is located after the pre-hydrator in the lime hydrator system. This is where the quicklime that can be mixed with water and reacts completely in an exothermal reaction to produce dry, powdered hydrated lime. In order to achieve better hydration effect, temperature sensors are also installed which can adjust the supply of water in the pre-hydrator. This allows the reaction temperature to be kept at a exact degree. One of the temperature sensors acts as a protective system. And if the temperatures rises in the lime hydrator, and the emergency system can work to switch off the whole system.
Higher slaking rate lime hydrator has the advantages of higher slaking rate, higher mechanization, configurable automatic control system, easy operation. The lime hydrator adopts variable frequency speed control, which is easy to operate and control the whole slaking process. The slaking and slag removal are fully mechanized. The PLC system is specially designed for higher slake rate lime hydrator to requires one person to operate and lower labor intensity. The higher slaking rate lime hydrator can also do continuous production, fast slaking speed and high production intensity. The quicklime can be conveyed into the mixing and grinding chamber with a filling rate of over 90%, which guarantee higher working efficiency and less heat loss during slaking. The material can always be in a boiling state (over 100 °C), and 15 minutes at high temperature It can be fully hydrated and achieves the purpose of energy saving and emission reduction.
