Working Principle of Vibrating Feeder
With the vibrating feeder, the crushed material with different particle sizes are repeatedly sieved through a single-layer or multi-layer sieve surface with uniform holes, and divided into several different levels to meet different size requirements. Particles larger than the sieve are left on the sieve. Particles smaller than the sieve are passed through the sieve. The actual sieving process is: after a large number of granular materials with different particle sizes and mixed thicknesses enter the sieve surface, only a part of the particles are in contact with the sieve surface.
Due to the vibration of the sieve box, the material layer on the sieve is loosened, so that large particles are already present. The gap was further enlarged, and small particles passed through the gap and transferred to the lower floor or the transport plane. Because the small particles have small gaps, the large particles cannot pass through, so the original cluttered particle group was separated, that is, the particles were layered according to the size of the particles, forming a regular arrangement of small particles below and coarse particles above. The fine particles that reach the sieve surface are smaller than those that pass through the sieve, and finally the coarse and fine particles are separated and the sieving process is completed. However, there is no sufficient separation. Generally, a part of the under-sieve is left on the sieve during sieving. When fine particles are sieved, although the particles are smaller than the sieve holes, they have different easiness in sieving. It is more difficult to pass through the sieve for particles with similar material and sieve hole size, and it is even more difficult to pass through the particle gap below the sieve surface.
Components of Vibrating Feeder:
A vibrating screen is generally composed of a vibrator, a screen box, a support or suspension device, and a transmission device.
Vibrator: there are generally two types of vibrators for single-shaft vibrating screens and double-shaft vibrating screens.
Pattern. The eccentric heavy configuration is better with the block eccentric type.
Screen box:the screen box is composed of a screen frame, a screen surface and a pressing device. The screen frame is composed of side plates and beams. The screen frame must be sufficiently rigid.
Support device: there are two types of support devices for the vibrating screen: hanging type and seat type. Pedestal installation is relatively simple and the installation height is low. Generally, it should be preferred. The supporting device of the vibrating screen is mainly composed of elastic elements, and coil springs, leaf springs and rubber springs are commonly used.
Transmission: the vibrating screen usually uses a V-belt transmission device. The structure of the vibrating screen is simple. The number of revolutions of the vibrator can be selected arbitrarily, but the belt is easy to slip during operation, which may cause the screen holes to be blocked. The vibrating screen is also directly driven by a coupling. Couplings can maintain a stable number of revolutions of the vibrator and have a long service life, but it is difficult to adjust the number of revolutions of the vibrator.
