Ceramic Ball Mill with Classifier for No-contamination Grinding
The ceramic ball mill uses ceramic liners and grinding media, and the classifier system uses ceramic anti-wear protection to ensure product purity and whiteness. For dry processing of quartz and feldspar, the ball mill with classifier system with international standard configuration is used, which has the characteristics of energy saving, high efficiency, large output and high classification accuracy.
The scientifically proportioned grinding medium is used to achieve the ideal grinding fineness. Liner and grinding medium are protected by alumina or quartz. The main bearing adopts rolling bearing, dry oil lubrication, and there is no thin oil lubrication station, which reduces the operating cost.
Different types of classifiers and classification technologies are used to adjust the classifier to make the product and particle size distribution meet customer requirements. Using a single extension or different combinations of multiple classifiers can produce products with different fineness simultaneously. The classification efficiency of multi-rotor classifiers can reach ~ U90%. The impeller is protected by wear-resistant material or full ceramic. Applications: Quartz, feldspar, zircon sand, alumina, ceramic materials, refractory materials, etc.
Special Features of Ceramic Ball Mill with Classifier
(1) The amount of 10μm fine powder produced by ceramic ball mill will be higher, which is not suitable for producing ultrafine fine powder;
(2) The iron contamination of the ball mill during grinding will be relatively higher because of the use of ceramic ball, which will lower the whiteness of the powder.
(3) The energy consumption of the ball mill is higher.
The ceramic ball mill is a horizontal cylindrical rotating device, which is composed of the main parts such as the feeding part, the discharging part, the turning part, and the transmission part (reducer, small transmission gear, motor, and electronic control). The hollow shaft is made of cast steel, and the lining can be replaced.
Working Principle of Ceramic Ball Mill with Classifier
Abrasion-resistant lining is used in the cylinder, which has good abrasion resistance. The material enters the first silo of the mill spirally through the feeding device through the feeding hollow shaft. There is a stepped or corrugated liner inside the silo, which contains steel balls of different specifications. The centrifugal force generated by the rotation of the cylinder brings the steel ball to a certain height. After falling, it has a heavy impact and grinding effect on the material. After the material is coarsely ground in the first bin, it enters the second bin through a single-layer compartment board. This bin is inlaid with a flat liner and steel balls inside to further grind the material. The powder is discharged through the discharge grate plate to complete the grinding operation.
