     Granulated blast furnace slag powder is increasingly used in cement and concrete. Slag Vertical Roller Mill is used to grind the slag into powder in order to fully stimulate the activity of slag, slag powder can improve the durability and workability of concrete. Due to the high density of slag and low grinding ability, grinding slag powder alone into slag powder with a specific surface area ≥420m2 / kg requires extremely high technical performance of the slag vertical roller mill.
After the raw materials of each component are qualified by the batching system, the mixed raw materials are conveyed in by the vertical roller mill belt conveyor, removed by the electromagnetic iron remover, and then dropped into the center of the rotating grinding table through the rotary air lock feeder. The raw materials begin to move to the edge of the grinding table into the grinding roller table under the action of the grinding roller, the grinding component-the grinding roller exerted pressure on the raw material in the grinding roller table under the action of the hydraulic system, so that the raw material was crushed, sheared, squeezed and ground.


      After grinding, the raw materials continue to move toward the edge of the grinding table into the nozzle ring around the grinding table. After being classified, the qualified raw materials are discharged from the slag vertical roller mill outlet with the wind.      In order to control the slag vertical roller mill grinding system in real time, the vertical roller grinding mill is also equipped with a computer control system to ensure the safe and stable operation of the vertical roller mill grinding system. The feeding amount can be adjusted according to the differential pressure of the vertical mill, the opening of the valve can be adjusted according to the negative pressure at the entrance of the vertical mill, the water spray amount can be controlled according to the level of the temperature of the mill, etc. , Pressure, pressure difference, vibration real-time control can be recorded as well as the output of the vertical mill system and system operating parameters.


      Vertical roller mill feeding requires uniform particle size and stable feeding amount. Fluctuations in the feeding amount will break the circulation balance of the materials in the vertical roller mill, which will cause fluctuations in the material layer, making the grinding table material grinding unevenly stressed, and also brings rapid vibration. The normal thickness of the material on the grinding table is 30 ~ 60mm. The slag particles are generally finer and have more water. In the feeding process, the dry slag recycled from the outside (dried by the hot air in the mill) and the wet slag are mixed together in the vertical roller grinding mill, which is easy to bond and agglomerate. The feeding of the HRM type slag vertical mill adopts a dry and wet separation method, which is provided with two feed ports and two rotary air lock valves. The wet material is fed into the vertical mill through the wet material inlet through one air lock valve. The dry material from the inner and outer circulation is fed into the vertical mill by another air lock valve through the dry material inlet. Generally, the wet material inlet is larger than the dry material inlet. Through this feeding method, it solves blocking and stoppage of the rotary valve.

 

     The vertical roller mill special features: (1) Special hyperbolic arc surface design, larger contact area, high concentration of grinding pressure in grinding area. (2) Change from ordinary double-roller design to three-roller design to improve grinding efficiency. (3) Each grinding roller uses a double-cylinder inclined-pull design, and the high grinding pressure makes the material easier to crush. Because the centrifugal force and the inclined grinder guide the material to the retaining ring, the ultra-fine vertical roller mill has the advantages of uniform material layers. Other flat grinding rollers will cause material accumulation in front of the retaining ring and reduce the grinding efficiency.
